先進先出法下存貨=后進先出法下存貨＋后進先出儲備= 608,572＋ 10,120 = 618,692
Notes中給出的是存貨數值的明細，以及LIFO下的數值，我們可以通過文字描述計算出LIFO reserve。

LIFO RESERVE可以明白，公式明白，但是為什么不能用標黃的數值作為LIFO inventory進行計算？而是只能用表格中的？

同學，早上好。
因為題目中有說明，Inventories. Inventories are valued at cost, not in excess of market. Cost is determined on the “average-cost” basis, except for the cost of finished products carried by certain subsidiary companies which is determined “l(fā)ast-in, first-out” (“LIFO”) basis.
因此表格中的是總額，而Notes是分部的數值，有平均成本法的，有LIFO的。
