Part 1 勵志助學(xué)金(Access Scholarships)

該獎學(xué)金授予那些無法全額負擔(dān)CFA 考試的注冊費和報名費，而需求助學(xué)金機會的考生。

1 獎勵內(nèi)容

1、免除CFA考試的450美元注冊費;

2、減免考試報名費(包括電子版教材)至250 美元。

2 獎勵周期

當(dāng)年12月份授予的助學(xué)金將被用于下一年度的考試中。如果被授予該獎，獲得者可以申請助學(xué)金有以下兩類：

6月考試(I 級，II 級，III 級)或12月考試(只限I 級)。

3 重要日期

2017年考試勵志助學(xué)金的申請時間：起始日期2016年3月1日，2016年9月15日前必須完成申請。

2018年考試勵志助學(xué)金的申請時間：起始日期2017年3月1日，2017年9月15日前完成申請。

4 申請結(jié)果何時出

2018年CFA勵志獎學(xué)金申請結(jié)果出來的時間是在17年12月前，此時已經(jīng)過了2018年6月的考試報名惠的時間段。如果申請者被告知沒有成功獲得CFA Access Scholarship，快也只能趕在第二優(yōu)惠階段結(jié)束前報名，而此時的報名費相比第一優(yōu)惠階段已經(jīng)漲價了280刀。

5 注意事項

1、獎學(xué)金申請人，可以是從未CFA報名過的新考生也可以是目前在考的考生。對于申請人沒有或的收入或資產(chǎn)水平要求。

2、如果考生目前的雇主企業(yè)有提供任何經(jīng)濟援助的話，該考生將沒有資格申請該助學(xué)金。

3、考生每年度只能申請一次獎學(xué)金。

如果一個申請人同時申請了勵志助學(xué)金和榮譽獎學(xué)金，如果獲得了勵志助學(xué)金，榮譽獎學(xué)金的申請將被作廢。

4、在提交獎學(xué)金申請，考生應(yīng)該提供以下證明材料：

(1)同意遵守由勵志獎學(xué)金官方制定規(guī)則;

(2)證明申請人自己不存在官方規(guī)定的利益沖突、關(guān)聯(lián)關(guān)系。如果有任何潛在的利益沖突、關(guān)聯(lián)關(guān)系已經(jīng)顯現(xiàn)，申請人必須進行充分的披露;

(3)證明申請人目前的雇主沒有對申請人參加CFA考試提供任何經(jīng)濟援助;

(4)證明申請人在申請過程中提供的信息是正確的和真實的;

(5)證明申請人無法獲得足夠的資金來全額支付CFA考試費用;

(6)允許CFA 協(xié)會公布或評估申請人在申請過程中的信息。

注意：以下是CFA協(xié)會規(guī)定的利益沖突或關(guān)聯(lián)關(guān)系，凡存在下列情況的申請人需在申請中充分披露。

(1)助學(xué)金申請人有親屬在CFA協(xié)會任職或是CFA會員;

(2)申請人聘請CFA協(xié)會工作人員為個人提供咨詢服務(wù);

(3)申請人目前或過去曾是CFA協(xié)會的工作人員或CFA協(xié)會的會員;

(4)申請人受到過CFA協(xié)會的處罰;

(5)申請人目前所從事的活動會給CFA協(xié)會帶來負面效應(yīng)的。

第八步：填寫一位對你有經(jīng)濟依賴的家庭成員的信息

Part 2 榮譽獎學(xué)金(Awareness Scholarships)

該獎學(xué)金包括五類，分別為教授獎學(xué)金，學(xué)生獎學(xué)金，監(jiān)管機構(gòu)獎學(xué)金，媒體獎學(xué)金和女性獎學(xué)金。所謂榮譽，一定是指被授予過學(xué)術(shù)研究和金融界有重要影響力的人士，這可是首當(dāng)其沖的要求之一。該獎學(xué)金指定授予在學(xué)術(shù)研究和金融界有重要影響力的人士。

1 獎勵內(nèi)容

1、免除CFA考試的450美元注冊費;

2、減免考試報名費(包括電子版教材)到350 美元，比勵志獎學(xué)金多了100美元。

2 獎勵周期

該獎學(xué)金在考生接到獲獎通知并確認接受時授予。

獲得六月份獎學(xué)金的接收者所獲獎學(xué)金可能只適用于即將于6 月舉行的考試(級別I，II 和III)。

十二月份獎學(xué)金的獲得者所獲的獎金可能只適用于即將于12 月舉行的考試(I 級)。

4 申請資格

(1)推薦人(包括：企事業(yè)單位法人)。CFA協(xié)會將選取一些對提升CFA協(xié)會項目的知名度有戰(zhàn)略作用的組織(“推薦人”)。讓這些組織分配指定數(shù)量的獎學(xué)金給附屬的個人。

(2)獎學(xué)金申請人。個人申請者無論是來自于企業(yè)推薦人還是大學(xué)推薦人均有資格獲得該獎學(xué)金。符合下列規(guī)定條件的大學(xué)教授和財經(jīng)媒體工作者，可以直接申請該CFA獎學(xué)金。

5 此獎學(xué)金分類

該獎學(xué)金包括五類，分別為教授獎學(xué)金，學(xué)生獎學(xué)金，監(jiān)管機構(gòu)獎學(xué)金，媒體獎學(xué)金和女性獎學(xué)金。

1、CFA協(xié)會教授獎學(xué)金Professor Scholarships

在大學(xué)中教授金融學(xué)，經(jīng)濟學(xué)，商業(yè)和CFA課程相關(guān)課程的大學(xué)教授可直接向CFA協(xié)會申請該獎學(xué)金，教授在申請時須具備：

在大學(xué)教學(xué)期間，全日制教授每學(xué)期或半學(xué)期至少教學(xué)6 個學(xué)分;如果是作為部門、院系主管每學(xué)期或半學(xué)期至少教學(xué)3 個學(xué)分。

當(dāng)然，必不可少的另一硬件條件，所任教的大學(xué)必須是教育部認可具備學(xué)位授予資格的大學(xué)。

2、CFA合作伙伴及合作學(xué)校項目獎學(xué)金Student Scholarships

在校大學(xué)生，獎學(xué)金申請人必須是學(xué)院或大學(xué)目前在讀的學(xué)生，在本科或研究生學(xué)習(xí)階段就讀學(xué)校是CFA 課程合作伙伴或于CFA協(xié)會承認大學(xué)計劃項目。一旦獎學(xué)金申請人己收到CFA協(xié)會頒發(fā)的榮譽獎學(xué)金，該申請人因畢業(yè)或發(fā)生其他原因離開推薦機構(gòu)并不會取消該獎學(xué)金。

3、監(jiān)管機構(gòu)獎學(xué)金Regulator Scholarships

獎學(xué)金申請人必須是全職或兼職雇員或長期簽約受雇于符合資格的證券監(jiān)管機構(gòu)或央行。

4、媒體獎學(xué)金Media Scholarships：

專門從事金融財經(jīng)新聞、數(shù)據(jù)、教育傳播的媒體組織的全職工作人員可直接向CFA協(xié)會申請該獎學(xué)金。

5、女性獎學(xué)金Women's Scholarships(NEW)

提供給想要成為CFA持證人且又不符合其他獎學(xué)金申請條件的女性。

本獎學(xué)金的設(shè)立有三個目的：

①讓世界上有強烈意愿參加CFA考試的女性考生們能更容易參加考試

②平衡投資管理行業(yè)的男女比例

③吸引更多女性參加CFA考試并成為CFA持證人

請注意：每場考試只可獲得一份獎學(xué)金，不會有double效果。

申請人每場考試只可以從CFA 協(xié)會獲得一份獎學(xué)金，如果一個申請人收到多份獲獎通知，只有第一份可以被授予獎學(xué)金。

6 推薦人要求

(1) 推薦人必須指導(dǎo)其獎學(xué)金申請人審查并遵守CFA 有關(guān)獎學(xué)金的規(guī)則。

(2) 所有提名必須在規(guī)定的期限內(nèi)提交給CFA 協(xié)會,并符合CFA 課程的獎學(xué)金驗證形式要求。

(3) 推薦人必須在評估及改善項目上與CFA 協(xié)會合作。這可能包括調(diào)查和特殊請求的反饋。

(4) 推薦人在大學(xué)認可計劃內(nèi)必須顯示出他們?yōu)榱藚⑴c和推動CFA 課程項目的積極性。

Part 3 獎學(xué)金申請成功范文

申請CFA考試獎學(xué)金時，需要考生提供個人陳述confirmation，而考生在個人陳述中要表明自己對取得CFA證書的向往，描述自己面臨的經(jīng)濟困難以及克服的障礙，同時用自己的學(xué)業(yè)/職業(yè)成就證明自己有能力通過CFA考試，并終拿到CFA證書。

下面有兩篇個人陳述范文可供參考：

1 Personal Statement - Sample 1

One of my career objectives is to become a leading Investment/ Financial Adviser with great intellectual resources and skills required for the delivery of a value added, timely and personalized client service. The CFA charter is an internationally respected qualification, with its members driving development of capital markets and spear heading development projects especially in Africa where I come from. Having the CFA charter is a sign of competence and professionalism in the Investment Banking Service field. Also, the knowledge learned is a distinguishing factor among investment professionals. The CFA charter would increase my knowledge base, improve my marketability and also produce an agent for change in Africa and West Africa in particular as I intend to focus on Africa-based projects. My goal is to complete the CFA exams by the age of 26 (currently 23) and the CFA access scholarship would help me achieve my goal of becoming a CFA charter holder faster as I would otherwise spend a long period saving up for the exam fees.

2 Personal Statement - Sample 2

I believe I am an excellent candidate for the CFA designation scholarship. My plans for the rest of my year at UW-L is to complete my finance and accounting classes for my major and minor, and to take the FIN 400 course. I am very excited to be taking the Advanced Financial Analysis course because I feel the course will complete my major and combine all my finance classes into one review course, which will prepare me for the most important test of my career. I am fully prepared to study the recommend 250 hours for the first exam and for following two rigorous exams in the next 3 years to come.

My ambitions after graduating from college are to go into the corporate world as a financial analyst. During the past summer, I had a financial analyst internship at Kohler Co., where I learned a lot about the financial world from a corporate level and realized I could have a very successful, rewarding career in this area of finance. Having the CFA will grant my employer the security and confidence in knowing I have knowledge, integrity and professionalism of someone you can trust with your financial information and most personal details.

The CFA will provide me with a broad range of investment knowledge and high ethical standards of which will provide my future employer with a well-rounded individual. In working towards my CFA, I will not only learn and apply finance but economics, accounting and basic business management. I also plan to expand on my financial analyst real-life experiences and relate them to what have studied for the CFA (and vise-versa), so I can apply my education in a meaningful manner.

I hope while I am studying for all three exams of the CFA I will gain knowledge that will lead me to promotions. In the near future I would like to be a manager or controller of business/financial analyst or capital planning. The CFA will provide me with wisdom, standards and ethics to be an even better manager and leader. I already have powerful leadership qualities, most of which I have learned through the many positions I have held in my sorority Alpha Xi Delta, but I would like to expand on those qualities to become more successful in my career.

Not only will the CFA help me with my career, but also to help me grow as a person, learning self-discipline and guidance. The CFA will also help me keep on track with my future profession, and will keep concepts and ideas fresh in my mind and will make them easier to recall and use when needed.
