CFA Institute獎助學金項目分為Awareness Scholarship和Access兩類：

Awareness Scholarship

Role-based scholarship program targets key groups of individuals and is designed to ‘influence the influencers’ around the world.

The scholarship waives the one-time CFA Program enrollment fee (if applicable) and reduces the exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US$350.

There are five types of Awareness Scholarships offered:

i. Student Scholarships through the following:

CFA Program Partners

University Recognition Program

Investment Foundations Program

ii.Regulator Scholarships (for employees of central banks, governmental organizations, SROs, and qualified entries that support the investment industry)

iii.Professor Scholarships (for professors seeking the charter for themselves)

iv.Media Scholarships (for members of the financial media)

v.Women’s Scholarships (for women ‘in industry’, keenly interested in pursuing the charter)

Access Scholarship

Needs-based scholarship opportunities for individuals who are unable to afford full CFA? Program costs. Societies are heavily involved in the Access Scholarship review and award process. We welcome and encourage all societies to participate, however, they can opt out if they do not wish to award scholarships, and in those cases CFA Institute will select and award scholarships in the society’s area.

The scholarship covers the one-time CFA Program enrollment fee (if applicable) and reduces the exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US$250.*

Applicants must meet all CFA Program enrollment requirements.

-- An international travel passport and

-- One of the following:

i. Undergraduate education: A bachelor's (or equivalent) degree or be in the final year of your bachelor's degree program (you must have completed your bachelor's degree program in order to register for the Level II exam), or

ii. Work experience: Four years of professional work experience (does not have to be investment related), or

iii.A combination of professional work experience and education that totals at least four years (part-time positions do not qualify, and the four-year total must be accrued prior to enrollment).

Awareness Scholarship

To ensure your application is processed without delay:

Complete your application using the online edit function in the PDF.

Print the completed form and then add your signature and date.

Scan and email the completed application as an attachment to scholarships@cfainstitute.org. Keep your email copy for your records.

Access Scholarship

You must wait until scholarship notifications occur in December 2017 before you register for the 2018 June exam,or you will be ineligible for the scholarship and your application will be voided.

Because scholarship notifications occur after the early exam registration deadline has passed, CFA Institute offers a US$150 credit toward the June exam registration fee for those applicants who do not receive an Access Scholarship but who still wish to register for the June 2018 exam. The credit is applied during the exam registration checkout/payment process.

After you submit your scholarship application, you cannot make changes.

If your financial situation changes, you may withdraw your application fromconsideration before 15 October of the year in which you applied.

If you receive a scholarship and register for the exam, you must sit for that exam or you may be ineligible for future Access Scholarships.

Awareness Scholarship

Awareness Scholarships application submission deadlines:

June 2017 exam: 1 February* (exceeded the deadline)

December 2017 exam: 1 September*

Recipients of the June scholarship may only apply it to the upcoming June exam (Levels I, II, and III).

Recipients of the December scholarship may only apply it to the upcoming December exam(Level I).

Access Scholarship

Access Scholarships application submission deadlines:

June 2018 exam: 15 September*

December 2018 exam: 15 September*

Access Scholarships are awarded on or before 1 December, to be applied to exams in the following year(2018 Year).

Access Scholarship recipients may apply the award to the

June exam (Levels I, II, and III) or

December exam (Level I only)
